The country needs a strict law against 'Love Jihad', Assam CM said this while referring to the Shraddha murder case in a public meeting in Gujarat

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said in Dhansura, Gujarat that if a person marries 2-3 times in the country, why would you do so many marriages? If a Hindu marries once in the country, then people of other religions will also have to marry only once. That's why I say today that the country needs a uniform civil code law. Women should be respected. If there is 1 son and 1 daughter in the house, then both should get equal rights. A Uniform civil code is needed in the country and only BJP can bring it, not Congress.

Referring to the Shraddha murder case, Hemanta Biswa Sarma said that Aftab killed Sharda and cut her body into 35 pieces. When the police asked why he brought only Hindu girls, he said that he did it because they are sentimental. Another Aftab-Shraddha is also there, the country needs a strict law against 'Love Jihad'. The Chief Minister of Assam said, “Aftab brought Shraddha's sister from Mumbai and cut her into 35 pieces in the name of love jihad. And where did they keep the dead body? in the fridge. If there is no strong leader who considers the country as his mother, then such storms will arise in every city and we will not be able to protect our society. He said, 'Therefore it is very important that Narendra Modi be made PM again for the third time in 2024.
