After a quarrel, the young man killed four family members, and the accused arrested

A 25-year-old man allegedly stabbed his mother, grandmother, sister, and father to death following a quarrel in southwest Delhi's Palam area. A police officer gave this information on Wednesday. He said that the accused has been identified as Keshav and he has been arrested. According to the official, the deceased has been identified as the accused's father Dinesh, mother Darshana, sister Urvashi, and grandmother Deewana Devi.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-West) Manoj C said that around 10.30 pm on Tuesday, the police received information about a brawl on the top floor of a house in Palam through a phone call. He said that on reaching the spot, the police found four members of a family dead inside the house. According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, the person who had called the police station to report the quarrel and his relatives had caught hold of the accused and handed him over to the police.

According to the police, a preliminary investigation has revealed that Keshav did not have a stable job. He used to work in a company in Gurugram, but had left the job a month back. Police said that prima facie it appears that the accused killed his family members after a quarrel. According to the police, a case under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at Palam police station in connection with the incident and an investigation is on.
